In 6 semesters, the Master of Computer Science offers you the opportunity to dive even deeper into the world of computer science and to deepen your knowledge and skills.
Through the three focal points of computer science, media computer science and IT security, you also have the opportunity to be guided by your own interests and thus specialize
even further.

Computer Science Emphasis
In the Computer Science program, you will focus on advanced software development methods and techniques for software systems, intelligent systems, and
mobile apps. You will look at these from the perspective of the software systems themselves as well as from the perspective of user interaction.

Focus on Media Informatics
In the Media Informatics degree program, you will deal in particular with techniques that enable you to distribute editorial content via various media.
Another focus is on the development of apps and classic web applications, taking into account user interactions.

Focus on IT Security
As part of the IT Security degree program, you will learn to design, protect and analyze secure systems, networks and applications. You will acquire know-how,
with which you can detect and defend against known and new threats and identify the culprits. To do this, turn to e.g. penetration testing and methods of
computer forensics. In lectures and associated exercises, they deal in particular with mobile devices, web applications, and industrial and
embedded systems.
